We Climbed a Mountain
Back in the summer, I had a fantastic day climbing Snowdon with my kids, my husband and my dad. This year has been tough on our family so it was particularly special to share this time together.
The weather was magnificent; the views were brilliantly clear and it was a good job we wore sunscreen. My kids were thrilled to climb a real mountain. I'm used to them complaining at a certain point on most walks we take, but they were in good spirits all day and barely took encouraging. It definitely spurred them on once they felt they were really climbing up the boulders, finding their way when there wasn't a clear set path. An achievement for them and a memorable day for me.
